Today I will review the Avid Power Tire Inflator Air Compressor 20V DC that I actually purchased, it’s a fantastic product, honestly, and I just wanted to share it with you guys. I know a lot of you guys are tracking your car as well, and this product comes really in handy when you’re out there at the track, and you need to adjust your tire pressures and things like that, and you don’t have to necessarily track your car, to be able to utilize this.
Honestly, this product works for anybody. You don’t even need a sports car or anything like that. It just works for any vehicle. It also works for many other things like bicycles and things like that, many things that need air in a tire or such. For example, maybe your tire is flat, and you’re in the middle of nowhere or on the side of the road on a freeway in the city. Wherever it may be, this product will come in handy.
The avid power tire inflator utilizes a battery, so you don’t have to plug this in, and you can charge it at home or charge it in your car. Another handy thing, too if this battery runs out of battery; there is also a case that you put on the bottom that replaces the battery that you can plug into your car. Just in case you run out of battery and things like that. It’s an elegant case and of high quality. If we open this, we’ve got a lot of stuff here.
The socket that goes and replaces the battery. Instead, you click it in into there just like the battery would, and this has the end that would go into any car’s charging port, and this right here is the charger, so you connect this to the battery. Then right here, it has the lights, and it tells you what they mean, and it has a wall charger. Then we also have some little ends for the actual nozzle for the air pump.
It just has one button, but it’ll show your psi once it turns on. Also, you can change it to other modes like bar things like that, but I use psi personally. For testing purposes, I have deflated the tire a bit, and then I’m going to show you what Avid Power Tire Inflator Air Compressor can do. It’s at zero psi right now. When I put that in, you can see it says 30 psi. Okay, so we will deflate that tire and air coming out of the tires, and we’re going to try to bring it down to maybe 23 psi. I ended up bringing it down to 21 psi, so that works too, but right now, I’m going to show you guys the cool thing that this tool has.
You press the battery icon there, and it’ll show the amount of battery. It’s really cool, it lights up in blue, and there’s a USB port right there. The thing about this one that I really like is that it has a digital gauge, and it literally shows you, and you can set it at what psi you want, and it’ll automatically bring it to that, which I really like. Just like the other tool, you can change the units and all that, but I use psi, and this is the button to push it on, so I push that on this it’ll go to where I said it before 28 psi, so let’s go ahead and try to bring the tire pressure up to that from 21 psi. Let’s go ahead and plug this in there, lock it in place, and then push the trigger like a gun just once, and then it’ll tell your tire pressure.
It says 21 psi, and let’s go ahead and start it now. Push the trigger once, and there it will slowly fill air into the tire. It will gradually increase the pressure, and it takes approximately 1 minute to increase the pressure from21 psi to 28 psi. I am impressed with the performance.
Okay, so usually it does that, so when you take it off, a little air comes out, and then it comes out correct, which I like. So now let’s go ahead and take that off and now let’s check with our pressure tool. Now we are going to check the pressure. I checked my tire pressure using the pressure gauge, and it says 28 or 28.5 psi. It’s varying, but it’s really spot on, and man, as you guys can see, it’s just an excellent product, and it doesn’t even cost an arm in the leg. Honestly, a very good price for this, and on my part, it’s a very good investment. I’m glad I invested in this. I have used it many times, and it’s always satisfied me and all, and for those of you that are interested in getting this, it’s a really good product.
I give Avid Power Tire Inflator right here like a five-star for usability and reliability. It’s straightforward and effortless to use. It’ll fit anywhere in any wheel, and I give it four and a half stars for the speed. It’s not a five-star is because I feel like it could be a little faster, and that would be perfect. Either way, it’s a fantastic product, and I absolutely recommend you guys uh get one for yourselves.
